Setting Up Different Rules for Different Children
How the Family plan lets you run age-appropriate policies for each kid from one dashboard.

How the Family plan is structured
The Family plan supports up to 20 devices and an unlimited number of policies under one login. Instead of one household-wide rule set, each child gets their own profile with its own rules, schedule, and activity log.
Managed vs. independent accounts
When you invite a family member, you choose one of two setups:
- Managed — the child has no login of their own. You connect their devices and control every setting from your dashboard. This is the right choice for younger kids.
- Independent — the child gets their own NoorI login by email invite, mainly so they can enroll their own device without handing you their phone. Rule control still belongs to the parent account.
Matching rules to age
A younger child's profile might block every non-essential category outright with no scheduling exceptions. An older teen's profile might allow social media on a schedule rather than block it entirely — see our guide on blocking or scheduling social media for that setup.
Inviting a family member
From the Family tab, click Invite, choose managed or independent, and enter their email if independent. The invite link is valid for 7 days.
Managing everyone from one place
Every child's devices, rules, and activity are visible from your single parent dashboard — you don't need to log into separate accounts to check on different kids.
